Key Responsibilities- Transportation and Handling: Transport goods, including gaylords, uprights, bins, pallets, and boxes, to work areas and distribute items to appropriate areas within the warehouse and loading dock.
- Material Management: Work with various materials, including clothes, furniture, trash, and metal, and sort, pack, and wrap donated goods.
- Equipment Operation: Operate handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts, safely and efficiently.
- Documentation: Accurately document production numbers in a timely manner.
- Teamwork: Partner with the donation attendant to help accept donations and work collaboratively with the warehouse team to achieve goals.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift or carry 40-60 lbs, and push or pull 100 lbs, and stand for long periods of time with frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, or pushing.
- Time Management: Sense of urgency to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize tasks effectively.
