Position Overview

The Global Test Method Validation Manager will serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for Test Method and Instrument/Software Validation, providing strategic guidance, consultation, training, and support across Abbott Nutrition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the validation of test methods and instruments/software, ensuring alignment with overall lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with regional Technical, Engineering, Quality, Research & Development, and site teams to ensure compliance with Abbott Nutrition, corporate, and GLP/GMP standards.
  • Define and implement validation strategies, including risk management, verification, and validation plans.
  • Establish metrics to monitor progress and compliance, addressing issues as they arise.
  • Provide training and consultation on validation policies and practices, supporting audits and corrective actions.
  • Guide the resolution of deviations related to validation activities.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a regulated industry such as Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Food Manufacturing, with at least 2 years in Quality Management and Validation roles, as well as 2 years of laboratory experience. A Bachelor's Degree is required.
