Saddleback BBQ Catering Director Job Description

At Saddleback BBQ, we're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Catering Director to join our team. This crucial position will be responsible for all planning and logistics related to catering events, ensuring seamless coordination between clients and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contact new leads and clients interested in catering services with Saddleback BBQ
  • Discuss pricing, menu options, and client interests
  • Invite clients for tastings and close sales
  • Plan and organize all catering logistics
  • Communicate event details and requirements to the operations team
  • Ensure all catering events are scheduled and staffed appropriately
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation for all catering events
Requirements:
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for internal management and external customer interactions
  • Proficient phone skills
  • Ability to effectively talk clients through pricing and menu options
  • Strong closing skills to finalize catering sales
Benefits:
  • Pay rate of $18 to $22 per hour with a tip share
  • Bonuses based on sales goals
  • 40-hour work week
  • 401k with a 4% match after 6 months
  • One week of PTO to start
