Position Title: School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Overview:

Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team. The SLP will play a vital role in providing essential services to students facing speech and language challenges within a school environment. We are looking for a candidate who is not only experienced but also passionate about fostering student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate the nature and severity of students' speech and language impairments.
  • Design and execute tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing the specific needs of students with speech and language disorders.
  • Deliver therapy sessions to students, either individually or in small groups, to enhance their communication skills.
  • Work collaboratively with educators and other specialists to create and implement effective strategies that support students' speech and language growth.
  • Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering insights and recommendations regarding students' educational requirements.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student assessments and the services rendered.
  • Effectively communicate with parents and staff about students' progress and any necessary interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related discipline.
  • Valid state license in Speech Language Pathology.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a school-based setting as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Familiarity with federal and state regulations pertaining to special education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
