Medical Device Assembly Specialist

Kelly Services, a leader in manufacturing career placement, is proud to partner with Johnson & Johnson in Irvine, CA. We are currently hiring qualified R&D Medical Device Assemblers to join our team.
This role involves the development of new processes and procedures related to Medical Device Assembly. Candidates must have previous experience performing soldering and rework responsibilities under a microscope. Soldering under microscope is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform soldering and rework responsibilities under microscope with typical magnifications used: 6X-40X.
- Regularly solder 28–42-gauge wire.
- Follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Work under microscope for the duration of the shift.
- Utilize small hand tools, tweezers, razor blades, and adhesives.
- Collaborate with engineering on new process development and provide feedback as needed.
- Provide feedback to superiors and team members as needed.
- Previous experience performing soldering and rework responsibilities under microscope.
- Soldering experience is a mandatory requirement.
- Ability to read and interpret work order instructions, SOP's, visual aids, and engineer drawings.
- Good manual dexterity with close attention to detail.
Kelly Services offers a competitive hourly rate of $30-$35, depending on skills assessment test. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, vacation, sick time, and holiday pay. The job is located in Irvine, CA, and the shift options are 5AM-1:30PM, 6AM-2:30PM, and 7AM-3:30PM.
