Echocardiographic Technologist

Join our team at MercyOne Dubuque/Dyersville Medical Center as an Echocardiographic Technologist. As a key member of our Cardiology Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Echocardiographic Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing noninvasive cardiac procedures for inpatients and outpatients, including echocardiography and other diagnostic tests. You will work closely with our medical staff to provide accurate and timely results, and contribute to the development of treatment plans for our patients.

• Perform echocardiography and other diagnostic tests to assess cardiac function and structure
• Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including ultrasound machines and cardiac catheterization labs
• Collect and analyze data to provide accurate and timely results
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop treatment plans and provide patient education
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results

• Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound/Echocardiography Program
• Current BLS verification
• Registry required from one of the accredited organizations (RCS or RDCS)
• High degree of independent decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
