Job Title: Echocardiographic Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiographic Technologist to join our team at MercyOne Dubuque/Dyersville Medical Center. As an Echocardiographic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing noninvasive cardiac procedures for inpatients and outpatients, utilizing your expertise in cardiac anatomy and physiology to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform echocardiograms and other noninvasive cardiac procedures to diagnose and monitor cardiac conditions.
  • Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement patient education programs to promote healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program or equivalent experience.
  • Registry required from a recognized credentialing organization, such as CCI or ARDMS.
