Position Overview: The Strategic Sourcing Manager plays a crucial role in our sourcing team, leading initiatives that align with our objectives of Operational Excellence and Sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies aimed at minimizing the total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Foster and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers, ensuring effective collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a key resource within the organization, providing insights on supplier capabilities, market trends, and potential risks.
  • Oversee supplier performance metrics, including on-time delivery and quality assessments.
  • Lead negotiations on costs, payment terms, and contractual agreements with key suppliers.
  • Monitor and report on material price variations, collaborating with finance and leadership teams.
  • Support the escalation process by engaging with suppliers and manufacturing facilities.
  • Implement lean methodologies that support our Operational Excellence and Sustainability initiatives.
  • Contribute to the digital transformation goals of the organization.
  • Participate in various process improvement projects across departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of sourcing experience or relevant education.
  • Preferred certification in Supply Chain Management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite; experience with MRP/ERP systems is essential, SAP experience is a plus.
