Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and assist in the daily preparation of food items, ensuring proper dating of products.
  • Coordinate the setup and breakdown of designated service stations as instructed by management.
  • Prepare and cook food items following established recipes and guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate portion control when preparing and serving food items.
  • Maintain daily temperature logs for food safety compliance.
  • Conduct quality checks by sampling food items before serving.
  • Notify management of any food items that do not meet quality standards.
  • Complete checklists for opening and closing service stations.
  • Engage with customers, welcoming them to the serving line and inquiring about their service experience.
  • Address customer feedback and complaints with a positive attitude.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the work area, including floors, equipment, and utensils.
  • Ensure all work areas and serving tools are sanitized and clean.
  • Manage waste disposal from the service line accurately.
  • Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas as needed.
  • Participate in daily safety observations and report any hazards to management promptly.
  • Cross-train in various areas as required.
  • Support concessions, catering, and special events as directed by management.
  • Complete tasks assigned by supervisors or management team members.
  • Lead and guide team members on the service line to ensure efficient customer service.

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • ServSafe Certification is required.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Prior food service experience is preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift and transport hot food items.
  • Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, and chemicals.

This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
