CALIBRE Systems, Inc., a distinguished Employee-Owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation firm, is in search of an Aviation Logistics Operations Strategist to collaborate with the Marine Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC), within the Aviation Logistics Division (ALD). This role involves advising the Commander and executing directives related to aviation logistics, representing the Commander across various Naval Aviation Enterprise levels, and providing essential support to subordinate entities to ensure the operational readiness of the forces.

The ALD aims to foster an environment of exceptional aviation logistics that enhances combat capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:


  • AVIATION LOGISTICS PLANNING AND STRATEGY - Support MARFORPAC ALD by making informed decisions and recommendations to optimize the Naval aviation enterprise, ensuring it operates in a more efficient and effective manner. A comprehensive understanding of available forces, resources, and logistics operations is essential. This knowledge will be applied to adapt operational logistics principles and improve the employment and operational frameworks of forces.

  • DAILY OPERATIONS


o Provide expert guidance for the creation, enhancement, and refinement of Aviation Logistics (AVLOG) operational strategies, ensuring readiness is consistently upheld.

o Deliver comprehensive AVLOG management capabilities, coordinating efforts across components to devise and implement strategies that address crises effectively.

o Develop presentations and documentation that articulate Aviation logistics (AVLOG) requirements in support of Operations, Activities, and Investments (OAI's), Operational Plans (OPLANs), and various contingencies.


o Utilize advanced task management software and systems to monitor and manage communications and tasking for MARFORPAC ALD Plans.



  • WEEKLY COLLABORATIONS


o Represent ALD in collaborative efforts across MARFORPAC divisions and subordinate commands by participating in planning and synchronization meetings.


o Facilitate planning meetings by managing audiovisual equipment and ensuring all presentation materials are current.


o Coordinate aviation logistics employment and sustainment needs with various military representatives.


  • MONTHLY ASSESSMENTS


o Utilize Defense Readiness Reporting Systems to perform accurate monthly evaluations.

o Update ALD Crisis Action Team (CAT) recall lists.

o Lead and support Operational Planning Teams (OPTs) and other required workgroups.


  • QUARTERLY REPORTING

o Contribute to command chronology inputs for ALD Plans.

o Maintain and update policies and procedures for ALD CAT and forward-deployed headquarters.


  • ANNUAL PLANNING

o Spearhead the development and updates for remote expeditionary support packages to inform OPLAN TPFDD requirements.

o Assess the aviation logistics planning process using relevant logistics tools and systems.

o Assist in formulating CONOPS for aviation logistics exercises.

o Review and refine OPLAN annexes and Joint Logistics assessments.

o Evaluate equipment density lists for multiple MARFORPAC Global Prepositioning network sites.

o Facilitate training events, interoperability workshops, and senior leader seminars.


Essential Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Military specialization in Naval aviation with a minimum of ten years of experience in logistics.
  • At least three years of demonstrated knowledge of military doctrine and command relationships at the MAGTF or Joint/combined command level.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Defense Readiness Reporting Systems or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge of USMARFOR operations related to OPLANs/CONPLANS in the Pacific.
  • Familiarity with Time Phased Forces Deployment Data (TPFDD).
  • Ability to work independently on high-visibility projects.
  • Strong understanding of the Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master’s degree in supply logistics or related fields.
  • Previous service experience at MARFORPAC ALD.
