Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Control Systems Programmer to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing HVAC control systems programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform HVAC control systems programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventative maintenance.
  • Respond to service and warranty calls using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
  • Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
  • Loading Johnson Controls field and network level controller software.
  • Performing commissioning and system diagnostics for all levels of system controllers.
  • Completing administrative tasks, including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
  • Executing company-sponsored as well as personally initiated training to ensure the highest level of knowledge and capability.
Requirements
  • Vocational School four-year program or an associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a similar field.
  • Three years of industry experience or 2+ years of experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sequence, and applications.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields.
  • Able to use hand, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
