Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients with acute medical issues.
  • Execute specified minor procedures with precision.
  • Collect and process blood specimens for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a current New York State registration as a Registered Physician Assistant and hold an American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which must be maintained throughout employment. A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant is preferred. Additionally, candidates must have current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire, particularly for those working in specialized areas such as Cardiothoracic, Medical, Neuro, and Surgical ICUs.

Variable shifts as required by the department.

Compensation:

The hourly wage ranges from $57.18 to $72.36, determined by factors including experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
