Role: Clinical Liaison - Sleep Health Educator for PAP Device Setups
As a Clinical Liaison at VeroHealth, you will be instrumental in connecting patients with our respiratory therapy services. This position involves collaboration with our Respiratory and CPAP/BiPAP Program Managers and Sales Representatives to facilitate both in-lab and at-home care. Your responsibilities will include patient education, equipment setup, and managing documentation within our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Key Responsibilities
- Thorough Equipment Setup: Provide detailed demonstrations and hands-on training for respiratory therapy devices in various environments, ensuring all procedures are properly documented.
- Customized PAP Device Management: Oversee the setup of PAP devices in diverse settings, offering flexible support beyond regular business hours.
- Patient Compliance & Technical Assistance: Offer ongoing technical support to patients, guiding them through their treatment plans and utilizing compliance tracking systems to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Effectively manage the scheduling and execution of new CPAP/BiPAP device setups, along with processing follow-up orders and requests.
- Patient and Physician Communication: Act as the primary liaison for patients and their referring physicians, ensuring effective communication of treatment plans and medical recommendations.
- Emergency Support & Inventory Management: Provide prompt assistance for urgent equipment needs and help maintain accurate inventory levels of respiratory therapy supplies.
- Educational Outreach: Educate patients and caregivers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment, addressing questions and concerns, and informing them about their rights and financial obligations.
- Insurance Verification & Documentation: Initiate and manage the insurance verification process, clearly communicating coverage options and financial responsibilities to patients while ensuring timely collection of necessary documentation.
- Promotion & Service Development: Participate in promotional activities and service visits to advocate for VeroHealth's offerings, contributing to the development of referral networks and continuous service improvement.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and infection control measures.

Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in Home Medical Equipment (HME) is required.
- Driver's License: Must possess a valid and unrestricted driver's license.
