Contract Nursing Specialist

Soleo Health is seeking a skilled Contract Nursing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Home Infusion Specialty Pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in managing nursing contracts, ensuring seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Negotiate and finalize contracts with nursing agencies, independent contractors, and temporary staffing firms to meet patient care needs.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess staffing requirements and develop contract strategies.
- Review contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for contracted nursing staff, including credentialing, orientation, and training requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contracted nursing staff regarding scheduling, payroll, benefits, and administrative inquiries.
- Monitor contract performance metrics, including fill rates, turnover rates, and contract compliance, and provide regular reports to nursing leadership.
- Conduct regular audits of contract documentation, invoices, and vendor performance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and Legal departments to resolve contract-related issues, disputes, and grievances.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in nursing contract management to recommend process improvements and enhancements.
- Clinical background such as Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician preferred.
- Home infusion experience required.
- Experience with CPR+ and Alayacare preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in nursing contract management or healthcare staffing.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of nursing regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with nursing agencies and staffing vendors.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with nursing staff, leaders, and external partners.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
