Body Repair Technician Job Summary

At Balise Auto, we are seeking a skilled Body Repair Technician to join our team. As a Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for performing automotive body and related repairs, removing and installing body components, and performing different types of sheet metal welding and metal finishing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performs automotive body and related repairs
  • Removes, installs, adjusts, and aligns body components
  • Perform different types of sheet metal welding and metal finishing
  • Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders

Environmental & Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of auto body collision repair experience required
  • Experience using frame and measuring equipment
  • ASE Credentials Preferred
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Valid driver's license required
