We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at MRG Exams. As a Medical Assessment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran. Your findings will be documented electronically through the web portal, and you will work closely with the United States Veterans Administration to provide critical support in their decision-making process.

This is an in-person position that requires a high level of independence, strong analytical skills, and excellent time management abilities. You will work in a clinical setting, interacting with 3-5 patients per day, and enjoy a set schedule during normal business hours without any on-call requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process
  • Review medical records electronically through a web portal
  • Conduct focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran
  • Electronically document exam findings through the web portal
Requirements
  • Hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license
  • Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
  • Proficiently use a computer
