Advanced Audiology of NY provides hearing health care services to patients in New York and surrounding areas and is looking for a competent and motivated Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to join their Middletown, NY practice.

The Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive audiological evaluations, performing specialized tests, and creating treatment plans for patients while taking full responsibility for the complete patient journey.

Responsibilities
  • Providing comprehensive, diagnostic hearing evaluations for primarily adult patients.
  • Fitting and dispensing hearing aids and recommending proper assistive devices according to patient needs.
  • Hearing aid verification, including Real Ear Measurement and Speech mapping
  • Fitting/Dispensing traditional and extended wear (Lyric) hearing devices (AuD)
  • Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD) diagnostic assessment (AuD)
  • Evaluating, diagnosing, and providing treatment and rehabilitation for tinnitus patients (AuD)


Requirements
  • Masters or Doctorate in Audiology, OR HIS or BC-HIS
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle a full schedule of patients
  • Ability to work independently
