Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care in alignment with established protocols and procedures.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Document and evaluate the effectiveness of care interventions.
- Coordinate with various healthcare disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing protocols.
- Facilitate discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide educational resources and validate patient and family understanding.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through formal and informal education.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Completion of ONS Chemo/Bio course within one year if working in relevant units.
- ACLS certification upon hire or within one year for those in Emergency Departments.
- PALS certification through AHA upon hire or within one year for those in Emergency Departments.
- Completion of TNCC or ENPC within 24 months for those in Dedicated Trauma Centers.
We seek individuals with strong critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently.
Work Experience:
Minimum one year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting is required for acute care roles. Experience in skilled nursing facilities or rehabilitation settings is also necessary for those applying to those areas.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Adherence to standard precautions and use of personal protective equipment is mandatory.
