Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as an Auditory Verbal Therapist at our SouthPark office. The successful candidate will provide high-quality diagnostic and intervention services to children and adults with hearing loss, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic and intervention services to patients with hearing loss, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with audiologists, otolaryngologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
  • Document patient evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence for Speech-Language-Pathologists (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Listening and Spoken Language Specialist Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist (LSLS Cert. AVT) preferred.
  • Experience working with children and adults with hearing loss, cochlear implant recipients, and other complex communication disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
