Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Surgical Recovery Coordinator to join our team at DonorConnect. As a key member of our surgical organ recovery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring donated organs for transplant are handled and packaged correctly, with all required documentation to ensure they are available for the designated recipients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the surgical team, ensuring compliance with various policies and regulations
  • Document and chart all organ recovery activities
  • Perform hands-on procedures as necessary
  • Participate in organ preservation and transportation activities
  • Provide machine preservation of kidneys for transplant
Requirements
  • Associate degree preferred, and/or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Healthcare certification preferred, such as EMT, CNA, CST, paramedic, or similar
  • Minimum two years of relevant clinical experience: MA, EMS, nursing, operating room, etc.
