We are a leading provider of water and waste-water infrastructure solutions in the Monterey Bay Area, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Water Infrastructure Project Director to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a passion for delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of water infrastructure project performance, ensuring seamless execution from initial award to profitable close-out.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and subcontractors, establishing and managing expectations regarding project performance.
  • Report project status and performance as required to senior management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • Plan, monitor, and control projects throughout their lifecycle, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Supervise crews to ensure maximum productivity, implementing effective strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Prepare RFIs, RFPs, Change Orders, and other critical documents to facilitate smooth project progression.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activity, including owner and subcontractor interactions.
  • Ensure timely delivery of major job materials, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors as needed.
  • Proactively close out projects by scheduling start-up activities, obtaining O&Ms and warranties from subcontractors and suppliers, and submitting these to the owner.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge and experience in water infrastructure project management, with a strong understanding of construction operations and production tracking.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and writing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project information to various stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience in supervising teams, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Five consecutive years of relevant construction project management experience, with a strong focus on water infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Project, and Outlook, with the ability to adapt to new software systems quickly.
  • A valid driver's license and insurability are essential for this role.

  • A competitive salary range of $140,000.00-$200,000.00 per year, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses.
