Position Overview

As a Creative Motion Graphics Specialist at Freeman, your role transcends mere graphic design. You leverage your robust creative expertise to craft compelling narratives that resonate with audiences and leave a lasting impression.

This position presents an opportunity to be part of a dynamic creative team that prioritizes innovation and originality in the mission-driven digital content we generate.

The Visual Content Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing video content and various digital features aligned with Freeman's marketing initiatives.

Additionally, the Designer contributes to the development of project scripts and outlines, providing technical insights throughout the production process.

The Designer produces high-quality motion graphics for use in Freeman's videos, websites, presentations, and digital products.

The Designer also compiles original footage and/or stock visuals for Freeman's digital content.

Final animations and videos will be delivered in formats optimized for various platforms, including web and social media.

This role will collaborate closely with our Audio Visual and Event Technology team and offers the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop visually captivating video assets tailored for video, web, and social media platforms.

- Collaborate with creative directors and colleagues to effectively support broader media objectives.

- Proactively initiate projects to deliver innovative solutions.

- Create graphic templates for streamlined use by team members and clients.

- Uphold brand standards while pushing creative boundaries.

- Assist in designing and drafting storyboards and scripts.

- Select, edit, and integrate third-party content (images, footage, music, graphics, etc.) as required.

- Retouch, correct, and color-grade video and photographic content.

- Ensure all produced materials are optimized for chosen dissemination channels (web, social media, large presentation screens).

- Collaborate with external consultants (videographers, photographers, narrators, programmers, voice artists, animators, translators, developers) to ensure quality and branding consistency.

- Stay updated on emerging content trends and technologies to maintain Freeman's competitive edge.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of experience with a strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics work.


- Proficient in Adobe Suite and common motion graphics design software, particularly Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder, and Illustrator. Knowledge of 3D capabilities is advantageous.


- A continuous desire to learn new techniques and technologies to enhance your craft.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong visual and conceptual abilities to solve problems and create innovative solutions.

- Familiarity with data visualization is a plus.

- Ability to synthesize and present concepts and data for a general audience using various media forms (video, animation, stills, graphics, etc.).

- Experience in short-form storytelling through diverse editorial techniques, including cuts, transitions, timing, and effective use of sound and visuals.

- Proven project management skills, guiding video and multimedia projects from inception to completion.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to receive and interpret feedback while meeting tight deadlines.

Travel Requirements

- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
