Job Title: Stationary Equipment Operator

The Stationary Equipment Operator will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of stationary equipment such as steam boilers, air compressors, generators, waste water, cooling towers, fire systems, and refrigeration equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain stationary equipment to ensure peak performance
  • Monitor and adjust/repair operating equipment as needed
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct issues
  • Monitor boiler water, boiler chemicals, wastewater chemicals, and fuel levels
  • Regularly inspect property for safety and security issues
  • Properly and safely start up boilers, refrigeration systems, and wastewater systems
  • Test boiler and refrigeration system safeties and record results
  • Assist in basic maintenance repairs
  • Keep plant online by making manual adjustments
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance
  • Experience with boiler maintenance, HMI operations, and stationary engineer license
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $76,960 - $90,000 per year
  • Second shift schedule
  • 8 PM - 4 PM work hours
  • High school education required
