Stationary Equipment Operator

The Boiler Operations Technician will operate and maintain stationary equipment such as steam boilers, air compressors, generators, waste water, cooling towers, fire systems and refrigeration equipment and operate automation systems to ensure peak performance of the systems. Key responsibilities include monitoring and adjusting/repairing operating equipment, diagnosing mechanical problems, and determining how to correct issues. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, boiler maintenance, HMI operations, and stationary engineer license.
- Monitor and adjust/repair operating equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct issues.
- Monitor boiler water, boiler chemicals, wastewater chemicals, and fuel levels.
- Regularly inspect property for safety and security issues.
- Proper and safe startup of boilers, refrigeration systems, and wastewater system.
- Test boiler and refrigeration system safeties and record results.
- Assist in basic maintenance repairs.
- Keep plant online by making manual adjustments.
- Back flows, process flows, and P&ID awareness.
