Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Nurse to join our team at Regency Integrated Health Services. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular rounds to observe, assess, document, and report on resident condition and changes.
  • Implement care plans as directed by the Director of Nurses and/or the Administrator.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct rounds with physicians and record visits in clinical records.
  • Perform narcotic reconciliation with incoming and outgoing shifts.
  • Identify significant changes in resident condition and take necessary action per facility policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and monitor aides to ensure they are providing high-quality care.
  • Initiate and complete Incident and Accident Reports per facility policy.
  • Discharge residents per facility policy.
  • Complete Nursing Assessments for Physician Calls prior to calling physicians on any change in resident condition.
  • Communicate with resident's point of contact when they ask for a status update or if there is a change in condition.
Requirements
  • Has completed a RN program at an accredited vocational school, college, or university.
  • Must be an active Registered Nurse in the state of Texas in good standing.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
