We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator to join our team at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing the recruitment and admissions process for international academic programs, aligning with the institution's strategic goals of increasing international student enrollment and simplifying the admissions process.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement targeted recruitment and outreach strategies to meet the University's international enrollment objectives.
- Counsel prospective and admitted international students on educational planning and career opportunities.
- Represent the University at recruitment functions, including partner university visits, high school/community college visits, and college fairs.
- Communicate with prospective international students and families from diverse backgrounds, promoting the University's mission, academic, and co-curricular programs.
- Provide extensive follow-up with prospective international students to encourage complete application and enrollment.
- Maintain a data-driven approach to recruitment, identifying and promoting internal and external partnerships to support international student outreach, recruitment, and admission.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to make and deliver effective presentations.
- Knowledge of international student recruitment and partnership development.
- Proven organizational, planning, budgeting, and record-keeping skills, problem-solving ability, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience using or willingness to learn website design and education database software programs.
- Experience working with a CRM, preferably Slate.
- Experience living and/or traveling internationally.
- Master's degree from an accredited university.
