Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neurologist to join our esteemed team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Neurology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of clinical neurology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting, addressing a wide range of neurologic conditions, including epilepsy, stroke, headaches, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, and neuromuscular issues.
  • Diagnostic and Monitoring Services: Conduct EMG/Nerve conduction tests and oversee standard and ambulatory EEG monitoring to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborative Care: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
  • Education and Research: Participate in teaching and research endeavors to advance the field of clinical neurology and contribute to the growth of our academic institution.
Requirements
  • Clinical Expertise: Possess American Board of Neurology board eligibility/certification and a strong commitment to maintaining and elevating clinical care standards.
  • Education and Training: Hold fellowship training in a clinical neurology discipline, although not mandatory, is highly desirable.
