About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned safety expert with a strong background in systems safety engineering. As a Principal Systems Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of safety requirements and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and mitigating technical risks, and communicating complex safety information to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety requirements for our hydrogen electric propulsion systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of the development process
  • Conduct safety assessments and identify areas for improvement
  • Mentor and train junior engineers in safety best practices
  • Communicate safety information to stakeholders, including leadership and regulatory bodies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience in systems safety engineering, with a focus on aviation or aerospace
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, including ARP4761 and DO-254
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer
