Job Overview

Position Summary: The role involves delivering therapeutic interventions aimed at supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from addiction, adhering to established clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct therapeutic counseling, case management, crisis intervention, and client education while maintaining accurate records under the guidance of licensed professionals.
  • Collaborate with clients and the treatment team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, regularly assessing and adjusting as necessary.
  • Facilitate connections to community resources and coordinate care with other professionals involved in the client's treatment.
  • Provide individualized skills training and case management as outlined in the treatment plan.
  • Lead or co-facilitate group sessions focused on recovery-related topics.
  • Utilize ASAM levels of care to make informed recommendations for clients.
  • Possess knowledge of co-occurring mental health and addiction disorders and apply this understanding in client care.
  • Maintain open communication with supervisors for guidance on procedures and clinical support.
  • Administer Urine Drug Screens in accordance with established protocols.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to HIPAA, Medicaid, OMHAS, and CARF standards.
  • Engage in regular supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to meet licensing requirements.
  • Embody and promote the principles of Racing for Recovery.
  • Represent Racing for Recovery at community events.
  • Meet established productivity benchmarks.
  • May lead support group meetings aligned with the Racing for Recovery framework.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the mission of Racing for Recovery.

Qualifications:

  • CDCA and QMHS certification from the State of Ohio.
  • Endorsement from a member of the Racing for Recovery Leadership team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to meet insurability criteria for operating company vehicles.
