Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Operations Coordinator to join our team at Shearer's Foods Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Operations Leader in daily operations, including setup and operation of production lines, maintenance of equipment, and implementation of safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including GMPs, FDA guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, reducing waste and increasing efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with team members, suppliers, and community partners.
  • Provide training and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on production issues, non-compliance events, and safety incidents/near misses.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by the Operations Leader.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a production operations role, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
