Lead Automation Engineer

We're seeking a skilled Lead Automation Engineer to join our team at NES Fircroft. As a key member of our automation team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for our clients in the Medical Devices industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automation solutions using PLC/SCADA and HMI platforms
  • Program and commission automation systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in PLC programming (Allen Bradley/Siemens S7)
  • 3+ years of experience in the Medical Devices industry
  • SCADA experience (Ignition, IFIX, Wonderware) preferred
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Motion Controls experience preferred
  • Experience with the full project life cycle from start to finish
  • FANUC experience desired
