About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Springboard Hospitality. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's assets, ensuring that all mechanical systems are operating in accordance with our standards, and promoting quality service to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment, including kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical, and guest rooms.
  • Respond to and handle guest requests in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Maintain rooms in optimal operating condition by performing repairs as needed.
  • Understand and implement the Room Preventative Maintenance Program.
  • Maintain operating equipment in working condition by performing routine equipment checks and repairs.
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of pool and spas.
  • Handle master sets of keys and respond to emergency situations.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in building maintenance.
  • Special skills and experience in a construction trade such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer software and web analytics tools.
  • High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
