Cedar Park Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on the Night Shift in the Women's Services unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients and their families.
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursery or related setting and be certified in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and modify patient plans of care as needed.
- Recognize and report changes in patient clinical condition and identify actual and potential health problems.
- Provide education to patients and families on various topics, including gestational maturity rating scale, neonatal abstinence scoring, and breastfeeding.
- Manage equipment specific to the nursery, including radiant warmers, incubators, and vital signs monitors.
- Respond to crisis situations and coordinate neonatal transport as needed.
- Document patient findings and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in Texas or licensure from a state within the Nursing Compact.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within 90 days of hire.
