Job Title: Registered Nurse - Women's Services

Cedar Park Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Women's Services team on the Night Shift. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursery or related setting and be certified in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and participating in the development of other staff members.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized patient plans of care based on nursing assessment and collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Recognize and report changes in patient condition, identifying actual and potential health problems and their implications.
  • Provide education to patients and families, incorporating age-specific criteria and assessment of readiness to learn.
  • Perform Point of Care procedures in a timely manner, documenting required information and complying with quality control standards.
  • Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff in accordance with job descriptions, license requirements, and standards of practice.
  • Participate in the development of other staff members and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in Texas, or licensure from a state within the Nursing Compact.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursery or related setting preferred.
