Key Responsibilities
  • Break fix repair of industry-standard enterprise-level servers, blades, storage, and networking equipment.
  • Work with various teams in the data center environment to schedule service outages, repairs, and validations, and inventory control and associated paperwork.
  • Interact with onsite customer personnel and the local Netpace team in a professional manner.
Requirements
  • Background in hardware server and/or storage repairs.
  • Data center experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and mechanical aptitude to assist in troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Specific server and storage training will be provided.
  • Learn and retain proprietary processes.
Preferred Skills
  • A+ certification.
  • Hands-on experience with Smart Hands in a data center environment.
  • Knowledge of routers and switches.
  • Break-fix experience on Dell equipment.
