Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Curriculum Developer to join our team. As a key member of our curriculum team, you will be responsible for helping to build and maintain high-quality computer science curriculum for students. Your primary focus will be on the teacher side, creating materials, resources, lesson plans, and alignments to standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain existing computer science curriculum for grades 6-12
  • Collaborate with the curriculum team to build new courses and resources
  • Create teacher resources, lesson plans, and handouts
  • Write alignments to standards and customize courses for schools, districts, and states
  • Develop instructional videos and other multimedia content
  • Stay up-to-date with the CodeHS course catalog and make recommendations for improvements
Requirements
  • Experience working in the K-12 educational system
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Basic level of programming experience
  • Experience with 6-12 computer science education
