Redis University Curriculum Developer

We're Redis, a company that's revolutionizing the way we interact with data. We're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Curriculum Developer for our Redis University program.

About the Role

As a Curriculum Developer, you'll be responsible for designing and developing high-quality educational content for our Redis University program. This includes creating course scripts, sample code, labs, and quizzes that showcase the power and simplicity of Redis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging and informative course content that meets the needs of our learners
  • Collaborate with our developer relations team, services team, product, and engineering teams to ensure that our educational material is accurate and up-to-date
  • Occasionally present courses on camera to share your expertise with our global audience
  • Maintain and improve existing Redis University courses to ensure they remain relevant and effective

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in software development or education
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching, technical content development, public speaking, or technical writing
  • Strong understanding of the Python programming language and experience with at least one other programming language
  • Experience working with databases, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and knowledge of Redis is a plus
  • Excellent engineering and program management skills to manage complex production schedules and their dependencies
  • Engaging and poised presentational skills to effectively communicate with our global audience
