We are seeking a part-time cafeteria worker to join our team at Essex Westford School District. As a cafeteria worker, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious food options to students of all ages within the district.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with state sanitation guidelines.
  • Prepare and serve food to students.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
  • Ensure students conduct themselves in line with established cafeteria rules and report any unusual problems to the building administrator or Food Service Director.
  • Perform cashier duties, including setting up the cash drawer, operating the cash register, and cashing out at the end of the day.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse community populations.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
