Key Responsibilities- Lead internal audit engagements, including developing individual audit plans, executing audit steps, and documenting audit findings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Evaluate internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in developing the annual internal audit plan, including financial statement mapping, risk assessment, and scoping analysis.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in internal audit and risk management.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting and/or internal audit, with a focus on financial audit experience.
- Knowledge of auditing and accounting standards, including GAAP and SOX.
- Experience in documenting business processes and reviewing the design of controls and tests of operating effectiveness.
- CPA or CIA certification.
- Experience in risk assessment and mitigation.
