Position at SBM Management

SBM Management is seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor. The Construction Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations necessary to fulfill the company's contractual obligations. This includes comprehensive planning, oversight, budgeting, vendor and supplier interactions, customer relations, and other essential managerial duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and organizes work schedules to guarantee sufficient service delivery.
  • Creates service personnel schedules and assigns routes effectively.
  • Evaluates and inspects the physical condition of the site to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and service standards.
  • Conducts audits and manages inventories, supplies, and equipment.
  • Researches and promotes innovative equipment and methods for improvement.
  • Reviews customer service requests to determine the underlying issues and coordinates with management for resolution.
  • Implements organizational policies and strategic goals.
  • Analyzes budget requests to identify potential areas for cost reduction.
  • Aids in marketing services to expand market reach and enhance competitive positioning.
  • Inspects facilities and assesses the utilization of space and resources.
  • Assists in the preparation of plans, budgets, and modifications, including cost estimates and contracts.
  • Ensures the site consistently meets budgetary targets.
  • Contributes to the development of long-term plans and capital requirements for process enhancements.
  • Coordinates specifications and requirements for proposals and contracts.
  • Gathers data for estimate preparation.
  • Maintains and reports on financial aspects of operations, including labor hours, overhead, supplies, expenses, and billing forecasts.
  • Promotes a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Ensures adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and labor laws.
  • Directs supervisory staff involved in supporting facility operations.
  • Acts as a liaison among the company, clients, employees, and subcontractors.
  • Maintains databases related to contracts and contractor statuses.
  • Reviews correspondence regarding contractors and responds appropriately.
  • Establishes and nurtures relationships with contractors to facilitate smooth contract processes.
  • Conducts and participates in meetings to ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Assists with human resource matters and concerns.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in operations management
  • Extensive background in facilities management
  • Bilingual proficiency (English / Spanish) is advantageous
  • Capable of delivering exceptional customer service while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel

Compensation: $69,000 - $70,000 per year

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, with occasional weekends as needed
