Capital Markets Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Funding Operations Specialist to join our team at Customers Bank. As a key member of our Consumer Lending Product function, you will be responsible for managing and developing best-in-class funding processes, including transaction settlement, edge case management, product management, product implementation, reconciliation, and key stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor loan returns, track refunds, reconcile overpayments, and monitor daily fund flows/account balance levels.
- Develop and implement scalable technology infrastructure for repeat operational problems encountered by the Capital Markets/Consumer Lending divisions.
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and product personnel to design and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Provide exceptional execution, communication, and leadership skills in a team environment, with the ability to engage a hybrid remote organization spanning multiple time zones and states.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in funding operations and product management.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in financial services product management or middle office experience, strategy and operations/product operations background at a venture-backed technology firm, or related funding operations experience.
- Understanding of financial systems/services relating to business operations, including completing/originating ACHs, wire transfers, account opening/reconciliation.
- BA or BS in Data Science, Economics, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, and/or 1-3 years of additional equivalent professional experience.
- Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as knowledge of relational database languages and API connectivity platforms.
- Fundamental understanding of API technology platforms, funds flows, Agile methodology, and financial product infrastructure.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
