Position: Temporary Employee Benefits Specialist

Location: Nashville, TN

Contract Duration: 3-month contract with potential for extension

Role Summary:

We are in search of a committed Temporary Employee Benefits Specialist to support our client's Human Resources department in Nashville, TN. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing employee benefits, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring adherence to both federal and state regulations. This role requires a meticulous individual capable of juggling multiple responsibilities while providing guidance to employees regarding their benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee various employee benefits programs, including group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, worker's compensation, life insurance, travel, and accident plans.
  • Collaborate closely with benefits vendors to ensure all program requirements are fulfilled.
  • Assist employees with enrollment processes, modifications, and inquiries related to their benefits.
  • Maintain organized employee benefits filing systems and ensure accurate entry of benefits changes in the payroll system for deduction purposes.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings aimed at helping employees understand company benefits and related incentive programs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations and maintain the timeliness and accuracy of required reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration.
  • Strong understanding of benefit contract terminology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
