School Psychologist Opportunity

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to support students' mental health and academic success in Norfolk, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations of students to identify areas of strength and need.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions to promote student growth and development.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students with emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development and success, ensuring a cohesive and effective educational experience.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and program effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to inform instruction and support.
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide programs and policies, promoting a culture of excellence and student well-being.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred, with a strong understanding of educational best practices and student needs.
  • Excellent assessment, counseling, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations and educational teams.
