Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team at the Hawthorne School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, consulting, developing, and implementing strategic behavior plans to enhance the success of students with behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans that adhere to the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, psychologists, and parents to develop and implement effective positive behavior support plans.
- Evaluate disabilities and functional limitations, and implement direct care and treatment programs.
- Conduct research and collect data to inform behavior intervention strategies.
- Maintain accurate and current student records and service logs.
- Consult with medical teams, educators, and parents to extend therapeutic activities to the classroom and home.
- Develop and deliver instructional materials and trainings for administrators, teachers, and parents on Applied Behavior Analysis and other evidence-based methodologies.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in psychology or a related field.
- Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with the State of California.
- Valid California driver's license.
- Two years of experience working with special needs populations, preferably in the area of behavior and/or autism services.
Working Conditions:
The physical requirements of this position include sitting for most of the time, with occasional walking or standing. The ability to perceive sound, near and far vision, depth perception, and manual dexterity to operate business-related equipment are essential.
