Job Summary

Fiesta Mart LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grocery Stocker to join our team. As a Grocery Stocker, you will play a critical role in maintaining the visual appeal and organization of our grocery aisles, ensuring that our customers have an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock and replenish shelves and display cases to maintain a visually appealing and well-organized store environment.
  • Rotate merchandise to ensure that products are fresh and easily accessible to customers.
  • Identify and remove outdated merchandise to maintain inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
  • Facing product on shelves to ensure proper appearance and visibility.
  • Build and dismantle displays or side stacks to create an attractive store environment.
  • Verify shelf tags and signs for correct prices and missing tags, and place products accordingly.
  • Clean and maintain the work area, adhering to proper cleaning procedures.
  • Communicate with customers and coworkers on products and prices, providing excellent customer service.
  • Stock and organize merchandise in the cooler to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Unload, count, and sort newly received merchandise to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Understand procedures for returning product that is close-dated to minimize waste and maintain inventory levels.
  • Organize pallets of merchandise in the warehouse to optimize storage and inventory management.
  • Begins to learn product identification and stock location to improve inventory management and customer service.
  • Stay aware of current ad specials and communicate these to customers to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by management to support the team and achieve business objectives.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all data encountered in the work environment, adhering to data protection protocols.
  • Present a favorable impression in dress, personal hygiene, and business attitude, reflecting positively on the company.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management to support the team and achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Prefer a minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent, with some college education being beneficial.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience, with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • 18 years of age or older, due to equipment use and safety protocols.
  • Able to work flexible shifts, including nights, evenings, holidays, and weekends, to meet business needs.
  • Communicate in a clear, concise, and understandable manner, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Five years or more experience in a retail or merchandising environment, with a proven track record of success.

  • Frequently-Standing on tile/concrete, walking on tile/concrete, bending, and reaching waist/overhead level.
  • Continuously-Sitting, manual dexterity, talking, seeing, and hearing.
