At Baylor Scott & White Health, we recognize the value that our Allied Health professionals bring to patient care. As a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures.

About the Role

This position offers a competitive salary package with an estimated annual salary of $95,000, based on location and experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing room and equipment, instructing patients, monitoring patient conditions, and providing routine and emergency patient care during procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Helps Physicians with arteriograms/catheterizations, permanent pacemaker implantations, implantable cardiac defibrillators, diagnostic and interventional, peripheral and coronary, interventional and thrombolytic therapy.
  • Follows national and state radiation protection regulations for patients, self, and staff.
  • Provides emergency procedures (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), defibrillation, etc.) as needed.
  • Performs pre and post-procedure care and monitoring.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of related cardiovascular lab experience or an Associate's degree in a related field.
  • Current certification in ACLS and BLS within 30 days of hire/transfer.
  • Registration in ARRT-R, RCIS, or equivalent.
