POSITION SUMMARY

The primary objective of this role is to actively seek out new clients and cultivate business opportunities within untapped accounts. This position will entail direct management of client relationships while achieving sales targets through exceptional customer service and strategic outreach efforts. Collaboration with field sales teams is essential to drive sales initiatives and foster business growth within the designated territory. A strong emphasis on teamwork and cross-functional collaboration is necessary to optimize revenue across all major product lines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Expand client accounts by utilizing our comprehensive AV solutions and reputable brand names to secure new business.
  2. Introduce clients to innovative products, programs, and tools that highlight the advantages of partnering with Legrand.
  3. Drive annual sales initiatives for assigned product categories.
  4. Maintain precise and current customer data within the CRM system.
  5. Represent Legrand at industry trade shows and client engagements to promote our offerings.
  6. Collaborate within a team-oriented sales environment.
  7. Comprehend Legrand AV capabilities to effectively market and support all solutions to customers across various projects.
  8. Assist the product management team in launching new products and markets by providing training and developing promotional strategies. Offer guidance to sales teams on brand initiatives.
  9. Be available to team members to address customer and internal challenges.
  10. Monitor competitor products and devise strategies to enhance market share.
  11. Engage in professional development by utilizing Legrand AV resources to enhance technical knowledge, sales abilities, and interpersonal skills.
  12. Recognize workplace hazards and take proactive measures to prevent and report incidents. Participate in safety programs and initiatives.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CRM tools is advantageous.
  • Background in selling or installing AV solutions.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This role requires coordinated finger movements for data entry and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The work environment includes both home office and field sales settings, with occasional long-distance travel not exceeding 15%.
