Printed Circuit Board Design Specialist

As a Printed Circuit Board Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing high-frequency PCB layouts that ensure optimal routing for RF and DC signals. You will collaborate with RF engineers to meet performance specifications and optimize component placement and routing for signal integrity and controlled impedance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design high-frequency PCB layouts for RF and DC signals.
- Collaborate with RF engineers to meet performance specifications.
- Optimize component placement and routing for signal integrity and controlled impedance.
- Maintain libraries, documentation, BOMs, and version control.
- Create 2D/3D mechanical drawings for parts like housings and covers.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency with PCB design tools (PADS, Altium, OrCAD).
- Experience in electro-mechanical RF design, 3D modeling, and tools (AutoCAD, Fusion 365).
- Mastery of PCB design rules, multilayer optimization, and Gerber file generation.
- Knowledge of IPC standards and design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Skilled in documenting designs, revisions, and maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with document control procedures.
Experience & Education:
- 8-10+ years in PCB design, with expertise in telecommunications, RF, and military sectors.
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Leadership & Aptitudes:
- Proven leadership in managing projects and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, continuous improvement mindset, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.
Problem-Solving and Optimization:
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex design and manufacturing issues, and optimize layouts for both performance and manufacturability.
- Experience with design optimization for thermal, power, high power RF applications.
- Ability to identify and solve signal integrity problems such as crosstalk, EMI, and grounding issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Must have experience working with part numbers of 10+ numbers and letters.
- Experience working with military products and mil specs.
Location, Compensation and Benefit:

- Work Location: Onsite Position in Fair Lawn, NJ.
- Job Type: Full-time.
- Expected hours: 40 per week.
- 8 hour, day shift. Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm.
