We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Pedi Hematology/Oncology to join our team at El Paso Children's Hospital. As a member of our pediatric hematology/oncology team, you will provide exceptional care and support to patients with cancer and blood disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized patient plans of care in partnership with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and well-being.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current RN license to practice in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
- APHON Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider certification within 6 months of hire.
- Associate degree in Nursing.
- Chemo Certified or in the process of certification preferred.
- Hematology Certification or in the process of certification preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
