Senior Oncology Nurse

About the Role:
The Senior Oncology Nurse will provide professional nursing care to patients in a clinic setting, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring continuity and coordination with other healthcare providers.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting informed decision-making and self-care.
- Facilitate clinical operations and patient care, including scheduling consultations, tests, and procedures.
- Triage patient phone calls and document relevant information in the patient's chart.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, with a focus on oncology care.
- Current RN state license in the practicing state and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
